24-year-old Shudufhadzo Musida from Limpopo has been crowned Miss South Africa 2020 at the pageant finale held in Cape Town.
The Top 10 Miss SA finalists were Aphelele Mbiyo, Busisiwe Mmotla, Chantelle Pretorius, Jordan van der Vyver, Karishma Ramdev, Lebogang Mahlangu, Melissa Nayimuli, Natasha Joubert, Shudufhadzo Musida and Thato Mosehle.
Shudufhadzo has a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pretoria. She is currently doing her BA Honours in International Relations at the University of Witwatersrand.
During the question and answer session, she spoke about her care and passion for mental health and wellbeing.
Her prime focus during her reign would be on mental health and the need to break stigmas which had worsened during the COVID-19 lockdown.
